What Is a Five Minute Power talk?

Five Minute Power Talk is an online competition for aspiring, emerging, and established speakers. We focus on giving them the preparation they need to develop a keynote by starting with their signature story. Even for seasoned speakers, it can be difficult to craft a story that not only resonates with their audiences, but is clear and concise as well. Five Minute Power talks is making that a thing of the past by creating a platform that they can share, give and receive feedback and improve their messaging through constructive criticism. 


Through partnering with established speakers and coaches, we have leveraged the ability to give contestants the opportunity to not only compete, but also attend a bootcamp that will give them all the pieces they need in order to prepare for the event. 


This 5 day event will run from July 19th - 23rd 2021. Contestants will pitch from 9 AM - 9 PM CST, with the opportunity to win a grand prize of $5,000* and a keynote slot at one of our  Voices of Victory Summit events. 


*minimum 250 contestants for the payout. We will continue continue monthly to run the competition until we have heard 250 Powertalks.

Who

This event is geared towards speakers, entrepreneurs, coaches, corporate legends, and everything in between. Speakers are more common than just people who are on stage giving a keynote, they are educators, sales people, advisors. Our goal with this event is to showcase the fact that every time you show up, whether the stage is a boardroom, a podium, or even a classroom - you are showing up and delivering (because hey, speakers speak!). 


That is reason enough to take the first step in exploring the world of professional speaking, and leveraging the tools you already utilize on a daily basis in order to increase the bottom line of your business.

Schedule: 

  • Day one  - 12 hours - 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM CST
  • Day two - 12 hours - 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM CST
  • Day three -  12 hours - 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM CST
  • Day four - 12 hours - 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM CST
  • Day five (final round) - 12 hours - 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST


Winners of round one** will be announced at the Voices of Victory Summit on July 28th - August 1st, 2021. **additional rounds will take place throughout the year 2021 to judge a minimum of 250 contestants for the payout.

Hi there! I am so glad that you’ve made it here, and that you have made the decision to share your voice, passion, and knowledge with the world. My name is Grace L Holden, and today I would like to share with you why I continue to spread my message to the world.


In my professional life, I have devoted more than 20 years of my life as a sought-after professional speaker and bestselling author... I've worked with international industry leaders with the ultimate goal of uplifting and supporting champions around the globe. What I discovered in the process is that very rarely is there a platform to allow others to do the same - so I decided to be the change, and uplift voices of victory and resilience.


With this, I understand that without community support, the chance of success can diminish significantly - which is why I created an exclusive and thriving community that gives thought leaders around the world the power to break barriers, provide support, and continue on the path to self-discovery. I’ve had the opportunity to cultivate an environment for the ordinary to evolve into the extraordinary.

    By applying to be a contestant for the Five Minute Power Talk competition, all contestants agree to abide by the standard procedures of the Voices of Victory summit and all adjacent rules and regulations. Contestants also acknowlege that His/Her/Their talk may be recorded via zoom for playpback for the Voices of Victory Summit, and may also be in packages sold with replays from the event.
